Construct Health Limited was formed by Mike Schultze after 15 years’ experience in large multi-national corporates and State Owned Enterprises in civil and high-rise construction, power transmission, and refining industries. Mike’s roles in management, as both the contractor and the client, enable him to understand the requirements, challenges and constraints of the client and contractor relationship.

Mike has helped organisations to develop corporate Health, Safety and Environmental policy and procedures, implement safety management systems and comprehensive hazard management systems, reduce lost time injury rates and duration, implement audit programmes, investigate incidents and establish employee assistance and wellness programmes. He has been responsible for the safety management of projects such as major earthworks, multi-storey apartment complexes, large retail and commercial complexes, refurbishments of historic buildings, greenstar buildings, high voltage cable installation through underground tunnels and bridges, and the maintenance of an oil refinery.

Mike is supported by a team of professionals who can be called upon as required. This team brings skills and experience in change management, contract management, legal advice, quality management, audit and investigation, financial and operational management.

Gareth is a manager with 30 years’ experience in the construction and maintenance of power, gas, telecommunication, drainage and water supply utilities and successfully delivering these services through a range of environments including tunnels, rivers, estuarine and marine areas, central business districts, urban and rural regions. He is very experienced in the development, implementation and monitoring of health, safety and quality systems, including development of protocols and training to achieve customer expectations. As well as health, safety and environmental, Gareth is also very experienced with developing and managing contractual performance requirements, project management, contract administration, estimating, programming, quality system development and auditing.

Brian is a very experienced health, safety and quality professional, with over 45 years’ in the construction and building industries. During this time he has worked across various building disciplines including, Safety and Quality Management, Project Management Construction Site Management, Estimating , Programming & Planning and Carpentry. This has provided Brian with a sound understanding of the complex requirements of safety management

Brian’s proven track record in health, safety and quality management within the NZ construction and building sectors was achieved while engaged as Mainzeal Property & Construction National Safety and Quality Manager where he spent fifteen years developing and implementing, among other things, safety and quality management systems to ISO and Australia & New Zealand Standards.
